WHO MANAGES THE ARAIN SOCIETY?

Arain Society is managed by the executive body which is elected from and by life members through election process.

Financial Assistance

DOES ARAIN SOCIETY PROVIDE ANY FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO POOR PEOPLE FOR MEDICAL TREATMENT?

Yes, Arain society provides financial assistance to patients who cannot afford medical treatment due to poverty.

I AM A GRADUATE BUT DUE TO POVERTY I CANNOT CONTINUE MY EDUCATION. DOES ARAIN SOCIETY PROVIDE ANY FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR EDUCATION PURPOSE?

Yes, students who do not have enough sources to continue their education, can apply for financial assistance.

Matrimonial services

I AM A LIFE MEMBER, CAN I AVAIL MATRIMONIAL SERVICES OR I HAVE TO REGISTER FOR IT SEPARATELY?

Life membership and matrimonial membership are two different types of memberships. Life members do not have access to matrimonial services. In order to avail matrimonial services you need to register yourself as a matrimonial member too.

I AM NOT A MEMBER OF ARAIN SOCIETY. CAN I POST MATRIMONIAL ADVERTISEMENT?

No, only registered matrimonial members can post matrimonial advertisements.

I AM A MATRIMONIAL MEMBER, HOW CAN I CONTACT MATCHED PROFILE MEMBERS?

There is link on every profile/personal page to show interest. Once you have shown interest, the other person will be notified immediately. Please note that by showing interest you agree to make your contact details visible to that person.

I HAVE RECIEVED MATRIMONIAL INTERESTS. HOW CAN I CONTACT THE SENDER?

You can view the contact details of members who have shown interest in you, allowing you to initiate contact with them. Please note that by accepting interest you agree to make your contact details visible to that person.

I AM A MATRIMONIAL MEMBER: HOW CAN I POST MATRIMONIAL ADVERTISEMENT AND WHAT ARE THE CHARGES.

Every matrimonial member can post advertisements without any charges. There is a link on every profile to post advertisements. Please note that advertisements are visible to everyone, however only registered matrimonial members can contact you.

WHEN WILL THE NEXT MATRIMONIAL GET TOGather BE HELD AND WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPATING?

The next matrimonial get to Gather is expected to be held at the end of February 02, 2019. Those willing to participate should contact Arain Society Islamabad office for registration. Registration fees is 1500 per family.

CAN I HIDE MY PROFILE FOR A CERTAIN PERIOD?

Yes, you can hide your profile by clicking on hide button on profile page. Please note that after hiding profile, it will no longer be displayed in matrimonial search results.

Zakat & Donations

I WANT TO GIVE MY ZAKAT THROUGH ARAIN SOCIETY. WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE FOR IT?

All sorts of payments towards zakat and donations can either be deposited to "Arain Society Islamabad, Account No: 23397900049003, Habib Bank, Blue Area Islamabad" or sent to Arain Society through cross cheque in the name of Arain Society Islamabad. After receipt of such payments proper receipt is issued with thanks

WHO ARE ELIGIBLE TO GET ZAKAT FROM ARAIN SOCIETY AND HOW CAN THEY CONTACT FOR THIS PURPOSE?

People belonging to following catagories are eligible for zakat:

  1. Widows, disabled persons etc who do not have any sufficient source of income to meet their daily needs.

  2. Patients who cannot afford medical treatment due to poverty.

  3. Old citizens who do not have sufficient financial resources to meet their basic requirements.

    The eligible persons can apply for zakat/financial help through written application addressed to the president of Arain society, Islamabad. This application can be either personally delivered or posted at the following address:

Lifetime Membership

HOW CAN I BECOME A MEMBER OF ARAIN SOCIETY?

You can become member of Arain Society Islamabad by filling the registration form online after paying registration fee.

I LIVE OVERSEAS, CAN I BECOME A MEMBER OF ARAIN SOCIETY?

Any person belonging to Arain community can become a member of Arain society regardless of their residence location.

HOW CAN I BECOME A MEMBER OF EXECUTIVE BODY?

Only life members are eligible to become a member of executive body through elections which are conducted by Arain Society after every 2 years. In order to become a member of executive body, you need to first become a life member and then take part in elections.
